Human Trafficking in Ohio and Our County

LWVWC Event:

Our August 25 program will address the topic of human trafficking. Our speaker will be Joe Morbitzer, Retired Superintendent, Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation. We will also have a special guest: Gayle Byrne, Response Coordinator at OneEighty. Topics they will cover include:

• The complexity of human trafficking issues and organizations

• The statistics for our state and local regions

• How state and local law enforcement are combating it

• How local organizations are supporting victims

• Plus Q&A with the speakers
